Default question on heads

Im fairly new to engine modding.. I got a 2000z28 a4 and im getting ready to do a head and cam swap. i already got ls6 intake, lts, ory, magnaflow catback. IM looking around at different heads a cams. and wondered if anybody has ran these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TF...n/?prefilter=1 or am i even headed in the right direction any info would be appreciated.. thanks.

I would say you are headed in the right direction. Trick flow makes a good aftermarket head. AFR is another option to look at as well as Texas Speed. They are a sponser on here and woul gladly help you out.

whats your budget?look at a head/cam kit from TSP or go to vengeance racing website for a trick flow head/cam kit.

Yea im looking at the trick flow kit that vengeance racing has.. Has any of u guys bought it? what kinda numbers should i see with this kit?

If you have the cash....Go Trick Flow or Afr for sure.....For the cam and/or full package i would definately either call Vengeance or speed Inc.....They both have been known to come up with some pretty nasty combos

Ok would u guys go with the trick flow kit from vengeance racing, or texas speed has a kit with the AFR 205cc LS1 Mongoose Street Heads and then cam of my choise.. Now both packages are withing $100 or so.. Opinions on which package is gona be the better setup.. Im thinking the trick flow package..

it would be hard to choose between the 2.I know the vengeance pkg with the vr5 can make 450+rwhp.AFR heads I feel are just a little bit better.are the AFR heads from TSP the new 210 cc runner?research and get the right cam if you get the AFR from TSP.are you using a fast intake?
