Default Knock or bumping from under pedals?

Another quickie question. During heavier than normal acceleration I can feel a knocking or bumping coming from under the car. It hits my feet down by the pedals for a second or two, maybe 3-4 knocks and then stops. It does not do this during normal driving, just when I open it up a little and it does not seem to be every time either.

Could it be my exhaust pipes bouncing around down there or is there something else under the floor in the pedal area that could be moving?

its more than likely your headers hitting on the firewall. Have you changed your motor mounts?

I just bought the car a couple of week ago and have not done anything to it. I will have the mounts checked out though this weekend and see what condition they are in.

ITs probably the exhaust. Due to a higher load on the engine which creates more torque throughout the system an aftermarket exhaust will many times hit the floor pan. Very common with xpipe setups that i've been in.

Yup, bangin' pipe man. Heat n' squish, or simply re adjust. If not, poly motor mounts.
