Stalling after install of cam and tuner
Hey guys,
I recently bought a 200 camaro z28. I have a gm hot cam with all the new top end parts in it. I have a NOS lid on it nitrous ready and a magnaflow exhaust. I also have a diablo predator tuner. My friend who is a mechanic messed with the tuner after all the installs and we couldnt seem to find out why the car is stalling at idle 70% of the time. i have to two foot it at stops to "fix" the problem. Any ideas?
he recommended it being dyno tuned but i would have thought that with the tuner i could do it myself... open to all suggestions
thanks much

Handheld tuners are IMO the biggest waste of money people with ls1 cars can buy. Followed shortly by k&n filters and MSD coils.
Cam cars need professional dyno tuning, or at minimum mail order pcm tuning from someone like Frost on this forum.

Get it to a real tuner. Even contact Diablo to give you a base line uploaded. You need to know the car is running safe. I am suprised though the hotcam is having idling issues. I assume its a Automatic car?
