**** it, might as well do it right. Solid roller, huge cam, ETP heads, 15:1 CR, race gas and make it see 10,000rpms.

Jeezus you guys are zero help to this guy. Here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...heads-cam.html

Now he did it with a six speed so you're going to come up short without a doubt. If you want that number that bad, spray it.

Iron 408, MS3, decent heads, FAST intake of any kind, 1 7/8" LTs and that will net you the power your looking for easy. And that would be on a budget going stroked NA.

Forced induction, Procharger or STS Turbo kit will get you there easily but pushing that on the stock motor won't last you very long if you going to beat on it realisticly.

Or you could just H/C with a 100shot behind it which would be the cheapest.

The thing that your going to need is a 12 bolt, stall, build your 4L60E, Lower control arms, subframe connectors, and a tune on whatever route you decided to take. You can make the 500whp horse quickly but build it to last or you will be replacing/adding this crap while your car is sitting broke bro.

Has anyone with an A4 ever put down 500 to the tires with stock cubes, N/A, and no spray? Honestly I don't think it's possible. Even M6 cars struggle to make that much.

AFR heads, .24x/.25x .6xx/.6xx 111+3, FAST 102/102, 42lb. injectors, built bottom end w/ forged rods and pistons, ARP rod and head bolts, 12:1 CR, crank trigger ignition, EWP, flaming river manual rack, BMR K-member, No a/c, BMR's full rear suspension line-up, MWC 9in. or Moser 12 bolt, 4.11's, auburn posi. This should get you close if not 500 then 475 at the rear wheels.

Make it easier and do a LQ4 or LQ9 block, stroke to 408 or 414, same cam as above it'll make the power you want and lots more torque plus idle better and drive better, TFS 225 4.0" bore heads, FAST 102/102, 42lb., 11:1 CR, still have power steering, A/C, and you could get away with just full rear suspension although the tubular K-member will make your life easier. Don't forget at least a level 2 tranny on both of these with at least 4k stall.

Procharge 8lbs. of boost, Ported LS6 intake, 85mm TB, 60lb. injectors, 255lph fuel pump, ARP head studs, .22x/.24x .58x/.59x 115+2 LSA, 243 heads, BMR LCA's, TA, SFC's. Level 2-3 tranny 3200 stall. This should get you close to 600 all day and cost the exact same as the 2 above, be easier to drive on the street 10x fold, start up everytime when it's cold, and plaster a grin on your face from 3k to redline.

Pick your poison wisely.

Easy... MS3 cam setup from TSP. Then a 125-150 wet shot. If u don't hit 500 with that setup then the dyno is broken... Seriously, with spray, it's not too difficult of a recipe

With your set up right now along with the supporting mods, a 150 shot would probably yield you about 470rwhp... Do it right and it won't be too hard...

That's what I s getting at in my post. Most full bolt a4's are probably gonna push 330 avg. Spray it and be done for quick cheap HP... Not bulletproof, but it will do the trick

My ? is. Why do you want or need 500hp? Is that the goal you set for yourself. Like most said it's going to be hard with a auto, but good luck.

500 rwhp isn't a problem its the $ to get there and the supporting trans and rear end if you put any kind of sticky tire on the car.
