Default egr/air delete

I've taken out the egr, air pump, and all the tubes. I've blocked the hole in the lid and on top of the intake. There is a black thing on the back of the intake where all the tubes went and (what looks like) a vacuum hose on top. Where does that hose go? Do I need to block it? If I do, what could I block it with?

No you can remove the black thing on the driver side rear of the intake. and after that you can reach behind the intake and you will feel a vaccum line with a t in it, one in which runs to the black thing. you can dissconnect it a run the two remaining lines into one another.

There is a T in the small vacuum line coming off the top? I've tried following it all the way around the back of the motor to the pass side, and I didn't find anything like that. Did I miss somthing? I will look closer when I get time. Thanks for the reply

IIRC, different years were different back there. On my car (2000) it was as stated above, one line that I just plugged with a screw.

Theres three lines total one which you will not need that runs to the black thing. just romove it and plug the other lines into each other. No need to block a line with a screw

Where are you guys getting three lines from? Like someone else said, I just had the one line that I plugged. I guess whatever the difference is, it worked fine so I'm happy with the result.

I have a 2000 and its just one small line that has a 90 degree elbow on it, that is on top of the black thing. I'm just tryin to figure out where that goes.

Just to make sure we are all on the same page....

"Black thing" = where all the air hoses meet in the back of the intake, driver side

one of those lines runs to the ac box in the engine bay to control the vents and one line runs to the back canister under the passenger side frame rail. the canister is just to help build up vacuum for the vents to switch positions faster. mine had 3. you guys w one, well thats all new info for me

So if its not plugged the vents won't switch positions? I don't think I've had that problem.
