Help!!!
I have a Trans Am WS6 H/C car made 451whp on the stock fuel system....I was driving friday night when all the sudden the car randomly started to sputter bad and a slight pinging came from the valvetrain. Ive already changed the spark plugs...still no fix. The car drove during the weekend just not good, put maybe 25 miles on it. This morning I go to start it up and it starts up runs for about 3-5 minutes then dies and now having trouble getting it to start. Im almost certain the problem is fuel related but not sure where to look first. The cars idle would drop extremely low whenever I would let off the gas, like 300-500 RPMs but typically wouldnt die. If anyone has any answers thatd be great, thanks.

okay i will borrow a fuel pressure guage from an autoparts store and check that. Is it possible an injector could fail and the car could run for a little bit then stop starting? I had the car running and was pulling injector plugs to see if it made a difference and i pulled each one by one and didnt make a difference at idle, I even pulled 2 at once and didnt make a difference?

Raise up the Rear. It's this canister on the driver side near where the lca and frame meet. Clamp the hose from the tank and unbolt the filter. Have a pan under to catch the fuel. It won't drain out much. But literally the filter unscrews from the line and unclamps from the other side. Real easy.

I was told you have to drop the rear not raise it? And yeah that seems easy but I also heard of a way to do it by cutting out a hole in your trunk where the TTops would sit....and you can get to it that way

They mean the entire rear of the car. I usually just jack up the driver's side since it literally is right below the driver's seat area. Make sure you have the new filter ready when you go to make the swap
