I have a LS1 that I need to have rebuilt. I plan on sprayin it 100 _150 shot. I want to take it there complete and pick it up same way fixed. New to the LS thing. Ideas on shops or people would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Located by Lafayette In, Motor has some head work thats about it.

Put a 6.0ltr LQ4 or LQ9 motor in it instead. Better for spray and much cheaper

take you time and research what you want to do.how many miles on your motor?did you do a compression check?these ls1 motors are great even with 100,000 + miles on them.you could find a use lq9 cheaper then rebuilding your ls1.or find a good shop in your area that is experienced with ls motors.schwanke engines sells ls motors for a good price + shipping.click on the vendors to find what you need>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
