2003 5.3 fuel system questions, what options do i have?

My LS 5.3 is from a 2003 chevy truck, the fuel rail on the engine has 3 different fuel lines coming off the rail on the drivers side which run down the trans.
My car is currently running a universal poly tank and i was running a carb motor so the pump was engine mounted...so no fuel pump yet, and i only have one single fuel line running to the engine bay...what options do i have to make this setup work?
I do not want to have to run 3 lines, is there a way i can stick with just one line running up front to the engine from the fuel pump which i plan on running in-line?
If there is a way to do this, how do i seal off the un-needed return line and vent? line or whatever it is running there? do i have to cap something off or change the fuel rail or intake?
Please help, i may be overthinking this but then again i may not and i have trouble sleeping at night due to this crap over the fuel setup!!
