Were ZR1 rims and the SS grille options, or did they come on all 2002 Camaro SS's? If they were options, what are the RPO codes the car should have?

Unsure about the grille. The ZR1 wheels were standard on 1996-1999 SS Camaros. In 2000 SLP brought out a new 10 spoke design that was standard from 2000-2002. It could have been possible to order ZR1 wheels with an SS in those years, I'm pretty sure SLP still had some left over. The best way is to check with SLP.

Both of those items were optional on a 2002 SS, but there would be no specific RPO for those exact pieces. They were SLP installed options, not GM, so the RPO that would be associated with such items would be "Y2Y". RPO "Y2Y" signifies additional SLP content, and then the specific items installed by SLP would be listed on the supplemental documentation/sticker from SLP.

You could get painted ZR1' s from GM on a Camaro SS but it you wanted chrome ones you had to order through SLP, whenever i see the "Y2Y" RPO code on the tag the first thing i do is go to the passenger door where SLP put the sticker listing all the options that they put on. If the car has the chrome ZR1's and SS grille they would be listed top to bottom on the SLP sticker on the passenger door.

Chrome ZR1s were optional SLP content, and could be ordered all the way through the 2002 model year.
'99 was the last year for the painted ZR1s though, it was not available or optional on a 2000-02. Starting in 2000, the base SS wheel was the silver painted 10-spoke.

My car has the optional SS badged grille. The standard wheels for 02 SS were silver 10 spokes. My car has optional chrome 10 spokes. Chrome ZR1 wheels were also an option in 02.
