MSD blaster coils

You will not gain any power, mpg, drivability with aftermarket coils on a lsx type setup.
Stock gen 1 sbc/bbc use a single 50k volt coil going through several feet of wire to make big power. A lsx uses 8 45-60k volt coils going through 6" of wire.
Whether they fail or not isn't an issue, they are a worthless purchase in the eye of performance.
No one was ever able to prove repeatedly the truck coils are even worth the $100-150 swap cost on a NA engine. Half a dozen sponsors and tuners will tell you this (they could make profit selling and tuning for coil dwell). I tried a set and sure I was able to convince myself they were better...but EFI live said no and switching back to my old coils burst that bubble. No difference in anything but looks.
