Default Do I need a tune?

I just got some pacesetter Lt's with air and egr and an ory, I have a voolant cai flowmaster cat back, tb spacer and a hypertech power programmer 3. I'm curious if I will need a tune once my headers and ory go on. I know a tune will optimize performance but am I doing damage w/o one? Also anyone know where I can get a tune. I'm in Indiana.
Thanks

If you plan on getting an intake anytime soon id wait til after that...though you wont damage anything w/ what you have w/ a reputable tuner...fyi theres a few guys here that do great mail orders for dirt cheap....sell that pos hpp and use the money for a real tune lol.

I know that hpp is junk. So if I just drive with that exhaust set up I'll be ok w/out a tune? How can I find the guys that do the mail-order tune

You will be ok without the tune. But while you are doing the research/thinking about it, look up Norris Motorports. Mike has moved his shop to the North side of Indy and is one of the more repatable tuners in the LS world. Might be worth checking into since you are local..

I've heard and read that Frost does a great job. Here is the link.

Look up "Frost". He has a good reputation around here. You won't hurt anything driving with headers and no tune.

get a tune by frost.but if you don't have and plan to add a ls6 intake then tune it.the cars are running rich from the factory, watch your plugs.the cooler weather will make really lean.

If you plan on doing more mods down the road like heads/cam/intake, etc, I would say don't bother with a tune until then. No you will not hurt anything from only headers and exhaust, people just say to get a tune if you don't plan to do any more mods basically, all it does it get the MOST out of your current setup.

No you don't NEED a tune. It'll run better if you were to get one though. What are your future plans with the vehicle? Other mods coming??

As far as other mods coming I don't think I will being doing anything for awhile. I'm just trying to get into the 12s hoping this will do it I ran a 13.3 before I did my exhaust.
