slp lid...imao very popular
k&n filter=good
get spark plugs when you get your headers
you need series 3 motive or richmond gears that run $189.. install kit and all your fluids will put you at $340( not sure why your looking at 2010 camaro gears).
borla...sure
converter...you really need to reserch/see what your goals are before you do this....
every mod effects the next....
finish that exhaust first..

maybe not right at first, but also look into maybe a panhard bar or panhard rod (PHB, i snapped the hell outta mine when i only had a lid and catback)) and then subframe connecters (sfc's), maybe then lower control arms...dont get all hyperactive under the hood and forget to keep up under the wheel wells. you want that 60' to come down, trust me.

okay can anyone get into detail for me what exactly the stall converters and torqe converters are and whats recomended than, because im looking at the several here on WS6 store. most being expensive.

98-02 LS1 TCI 4L60E Street Fighter 3500 Torque Converter
98-02 LS1 Fbody Hughes Performance 4L60E Street/Strip 3500 Stall Converter

These two are a little much on the budget although i have little insight on what they really do

Borsla exhaust is the same boat. dont know why that one would be any better than the rest. That list i put together was rather rough but i think ive found a few things so far. all the advice from everyone really helps.

And what exactly is bay runner trying to tell me? That 60' to come down?

The converter will be the best mod but you need a set of long tubes. If you cant afford LTs and a cat back get LTs and a cut out.

You gotta read the stickys man...everyone is going to tell you something alittle different that will confuse you...if you have a question...it's been asked before...just type it in the serch option at the top...everyone will agree on a lid and a catback of your choice....listen to youtube videos on different catbacks....borla is expensive.....magnaflow is not...they both sound really good....pacesetter headers will offer you the same gains as kooks...but kooks is 2x as much....in some cases your paying for the name....narrow it down to a couple of options that you ARE going to do...do them...then go to the next....don't overload yourself on everything you CAN do...you'll get nowhere fast thinking of EVERTHING you can do....

He is talking about drag racing, your 60' time(From dead stop to 60 Feet) will come down with the proper converter.

Choosing the right converter for your setup is very important, I don't know enough about them to offer any suggestions.

As for mods:

Air Lid
Long Tubes
Off Road Y-pipe
Cat Back exhaust
3.73 Gears
Dyno Tune
Sub Frame Connectors

I just updated what mods I've done within one year in the gears section...
I got the car last year and did a few mods.........
the first of course were the cold air intake...(which is ram air)....so for you just a lid
and my flowmaster catback...
you gotta atleast get those 2...more air/better sound right off the rip....Then I went crazy these last 2 months.....yeahhhhh mannn..

Speaking as someone who did a gear swap, if you already have 3.23 gears then I would just stick with those. Your rear end will remain stronger and you won't spend a lot of money for a relatively small performance gain, not to mention decreased fuel economy. Plus a lot can go wrong with a gear swap.
Don't go cheap on the torque converter, you may regret it later. Get one from Yank, Vigilante, Circle D, or Transmission Specialties, all great companies with a quality product. TCI has a horrible reputation for quality. A faulty converter can ruin your automotive life. Do a lot of research in the automatic transmission section. Also, do a LOT of research in the Gen III internal engine section before buying a heads and cam package.
FWIW my wife had the Loudmouth 1 on her Z28 and it sounded good at idle and wide open throttle, but everything in between was a raspy, droning mess.

just skimmed threw the thread. didnt notice anything about who is installing all of this. some of it can be a pain. so dont forget to factor in shop cost on labor if your having someone else do it.
