Welcome. Here is a link to a site that has a bunch of sound clips of different setups. Hope this helps. I just put on a "cut out" so I can be loud if I want.

Longtubes + True duals. Way better sound than LM1. That's just ugly, raspy noise.

My old duals...Dynomax bullets:

I love my Corsa, has very distinct sound at idle and sounds spectacular from 3k RPM and up.

Just remember there will be a MAJOR sound/tone difference once a cam goes in so a exhaust that sounds amazing on a bolt on car will sound totally different once a cam goes in. Tuning will have some to do with it but I have been in MANY different LT1's and LS1's with a variety of different sound mixtures.

One that I REALLY did not like was a c5 with LT's ORY and a LM1 exhaust and had a MS3 cam. That thing was obnoxiously loud in the cabin, and had horrible deceleration popping. I am sure much could be fixed with better under WOT tuning but really turned me off to it.

With other cammed LS1's I had great luck with Borla and Magnaflow.

Hell my 70 Chevelle with a Iron block/head SBC sounded amazing with Hooker LT's with Duals down to Flowmaster Delta Series 40's out the back.

It all depends on the motor, tune, Cats or No Cats and compression.

I've got Flowtech LT's, ORY and LM1 cat-back. bout as loud as you can get without going open headers or cut-outs.

Long tube headers
3" Catted Y pipe for deeper sound w/less rasp
Off Road pipe will be louder but not as deep
Loudmouth1

I would go ahead and get the catted y. Or LT's+ 3"ORY and LM2
