At what point should you upgrade to 1 7/8ths headers? I just bought a set of 1 3/4's headers but wondering if this is going to be somewhat of a bottleneck..strictly a street car...will be doing TSP's Torquer V2 cam in the near future..of course with a tune...
Thanks all

when would u NEED to upgrade? never really. i mean if ur looking for the maximum performance of a track car yea u could upgrade but for a street car with just a cam, u dont need to waste ur money. i had a cammed and heads silverado ss on the bottle with 1 3/4 pacesetters and had no restriction of flow. since u already have the 1 3/4 headers dont worry about it. i myself just bought a set of LPP's 1 3/4 for dirt cheap from a buddy brand new and from here i MIGHT do a cam much later.

I don't look at it like it's that big a deal. I mean obviously with the bigger diameter tube size, it's going to flow a little better. Not sure how much you'd stand to gain in the power department though. Not to mention you get to uninstall and reinstall new headers...AGAIN.
I guess in the end it's for you to decide but personally, I'd wait a couple years and get your money out of the hookers before investing in headers again.
