I see everyone posting up that your fuel sending unit is bad in the fuel pump- Is the needle completely dead to one side of the gauge or does it float all around? I'm thinking you have a problem in the cluster just because your tach also doesn't work. When the fuel sending units go bad, you will usually see the gauge float all around, not just drop to one side and stay there. Just don't want you to replace your fuel pump if that isn't the issue. Sorry to butt in,
But I have a 93 Formula, And the tack doesn't read either. It does move however, just in a very awkward range. It floats up to about a quarter, and then skips the whole quarter to 3/4 past half then its ok again. Is this the same issue with the fuel pump?
