I found a local guy on craigslist that sold his z28 and is selling his diablo sport tuner for $100. I haven't ever heard of any feedback really good or bad about the diablo sport tuners any input would be appreciated.

i wouldnt waste the money on one. just put your money towards better mods like exhaust/cam/intake/etc then get a dyno tune

A mail order tune would better than the handheld. A dyno tune is your best bet.

I would have to say if your set on having a handheld at this point the Diablosport Predator programmer is in my opinion one of the best out there for an F-body.

Id buy it for $100. I used the Diablo on my hemi and later used the more in depth tuning software called CMR and got 445 rhp and 515 rtqe out of a 5.7

ya, the predator is a handheld but it has 3 canned tunes according to octane levels, allows firmer upshifts, adding spark and fuel by small increments, raises rev limiter, shift points, top speed limiter and monitors lt knock and st knock. it also monitors and records over 100 pids so you can watch them on your laptop.

and thats just the handheld. CMR does as much as EFI LIve or HP Tuners.

For the fact its able to scan diagnostic codes also makes it worth the $100

Ive been through the whole handheld tuner thing and the diablo is by far the best handheld, but id do like everyone else is saying and just send your computer to frost and have him tune it, that will make the most difference, or save for bigger and better things, my favorite cheap mod was an exhaust cut out, make a huge SOTP difference and makes the car 10x funner to drive, and do your free mods like TB coolant bypass and bump stop mod.
