Greetings, Bought a real nice 69 Camaro SS with an LSI 5.7 Engine all built. Need HELP to try & identify what Year engine & head I have.
Here are the clues:
a) Rear drivers side of Block this is the casting #'s we were able to read withthe help of a mirror..................87395521 - or - 873955S1...7th digit is a 2 or S??
b) On the rear drivers side was a parts white sticker sticker with the following numbers on it. 10YHBK002930873..........Above that sticker were the letters stamped into the head (YHB)
Trying to figure what year this LSI is ??? my guess is a 1999 ??
Any help greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks

nice car! i have no idea what the answer to your questions are tho hopefully this bump will put you at the top again and this thread will catch someones eye, you might wanna try and call GM and give them the numbers im pretty sure a GM dealership could help you out just a thought.

Thanks for the help. Since you are located in Uranus that means you're in my rear view mirror, so far away I can't see you. Let me know when your Garage is full of cars instead of trophies.
