Are the 5.3 stg 2.5 heads ported to 5.7 specs?

OP are gonna be doing this work yourself or having a shop do this? That will really effect what performance parts you will be able to budget in. Call up some of the sponsors and I'm sure they will get you what you want with the $ you have to spend

Yeah, I got quoted roughly $2000 for head and cam install and a dyno tune.

That would put me at $4,500 instead of $3,000!

I would just do the cam and put the rest of the money into the rear end or suspension if you decide to. By doing the cam and tune only you will definitely not go over $3500, will pick up a good deal of power, know exactly how much money you have left over and see if you want to put any more into the car or save it.
