LS6 243's have the sodium/hollow valve stems (from what I've read online, not actually proven myself). Otherwise, flow, combustion chamber, etc is all the same

That's true, but only for the intake valves. The exhaust valves are 100% the same.

Sorry no.... LS6 exhaust valves are sodium filled and lighter. The sodium absorbs/disperses heat away from the valve head......

my knowledge is a 243 is a 243, a 799 is a 799, 243's have hollow intake and sodium exhaust. but I dont know anyone who has actually found all truths...

There are 2 different sets of 243's.

ls6 - Sodium filled valves (04-05 CTS-V, 02+ Corvette Z06's...)
ls2 - Regular valves (GTO, 06-07 CTS-V, Corvette... etc)

Sodium filled are more desired.
