stall and gears question?
In the future id like to get 3.73 gears and a nice stall before my cam goes in. I was just wondering is it even possible to drive a stalled and geared car without having it tuned. I would assume i definatly cant go WOT before the tune. I guess what im asking is can i drive the car to the dyno without breaking something?

Yes you can drive it before its tuned. The gears will do nothing other then mess up your speedo so you'll want to follow traffic. Smaller stalls dont even need to be tuned. bigger ones (3600+) might cause you to bounce the rev limiter at WOT. Just drive normally until you can have torque management turned off and the shift points adjusted.
It's driving without a tune after a cam that could be dangerous depending on how rich/lean the engine is running.

^^^agree.
In 2006 I put 4.56s' in,in 2007 I put a TCI2800,in May of this year I replaced the TCI 2800 with a Yank SS3600. Never did a 'tune',just used a handheld programmer to correct speedo and shift points. The car's a traveller and daily driver(except in the snow),never had a problem.
