Noob, Headers and AIR tubes

I had to take the heads off due to a stripped bolt in the last rocker arm on the left side, thats why the intake is off, I also took the whole exhaust system, look at my sig. ALSO look at Post#12 second picture you can see no heads.

Hate to bump an old thread but thanks for the pics. Apparently the ones from the sticky are long gone....
I'll be doing this along with an LS6 Valley and Mike Norris Catch Can, deleting the entire PCV as well. (Metco Breather)
I'd highly HIGHLY suggest you get that POS power steering cooler off that car before it bites you in the ***.
Here's a good thread.... Power Steering Cooling Success

alright you have to go to your drivers side and remove the splash guards. there is a big fan 4 bolts to unbolt it. take off the hose to the lid and go to the back of intake and remove the other fan looking thing and get vaccum caps from autozone etc. then pull out all of the tubing. then all that is left is what is on the manifolds. you have to buy air delete covers for the manifolds unless your getting off road headers hope this helps.

Not to bring this back from the dead but I am doing this, this weekend.
The only question I have is after removing the pump, the bolt at the back of the engine. What do I cap this off with? Does it have to be capped??
I have the plug from ws6store for the air lid, my headers are capped off already.
Also after the pump is removed and that back bolt off the engine, is there anything else holding this all together that I need to remove?
Thanks.

Your cel didn't come on? I removed the air tubes just from my lt's and installed block off plates. Cel keep coming on for secondary air mulfuction. Put it back on and no cel. So I assume you would have to get it tunned to keep cel off?

Yes I have had it tuned out.
Here you go: https://ls1tech.com/forums/17937373-post5.html
So, what does this mean? Once you get back to the "T" fitting, you'll only want to remove the vacuum piece on the top (the line that comes from the AIR system). I simply used the vacuum cap assortment from Motormite (their "Help" brand) that can be found at any parts store to plug that top part. Nothing else was touched on/behind the intake

Also, I should just give Motormite a call then and they will know what I am speaking of? Is there a specific name or size that could expedite the call or so I don't buy the wrong cap? Sorry about all the questions, I really do appreciate it all.
