Once it's reaches operating temp, it will drive like stock. I've never had it stall on me on the street, but tuning is a big factor in drivability too.

Give the guys over at Yank a call. IDK much about spec'ing them out, so I'd rather give no advise than bad advise. Let them know your plans for the car and what you plan on using it for, and they should be able to let you know what would be best for you.

I run an old Yank 3500 that I bought used off of here for $200. 25k+ miles since the install and no issues. My city mileage did drop some, but it is by far the best thing I've done to the car. An automatic with a stall is a whole different animal; I'd let you drive it if you were close. I haven't been to the track since putting it in, but it's an animal.

If you're into saving money browse the classifieds here. Between my wheels, full exhaust, gears, stall and subframe connectors I have a grand into my car. You can't beat that with a stick.

nice thanks a lot! Yeah I have been living in the classified section on here and finally just got my ls6 intake (thank god that search is over). A friend of mine said they used to go for 200 bucks I wish I had a f body then lol now I see them going for like 400 on ebay thats CRAZY for a stock intake! But I finally found one in the classifieds and got to it just intime!

how about ptc converters been hearing a lot of good about them and I hear they are half the price of hank and PI I really dont like to skimp out on parts but I also am not looking to go very radical with this car either so do I really need a billet converter? thanks alot for all the help guys!
also I am thinking about going with a 228r cam package with beehive springs from texas speed would that be ok for a street strip or should I go a lil bigger

Definatley camming it. Already have all that stuff done except for gears. And I think I am gonna go 3600 stall at The most I want to retain as much drivability as possible. And mpg.
