I could of got a little better than 14 but traction was not a problem. KCIR was sticky the day I went. And yea, I dont race at a track much (2nd time) so my reaction time was BAD. Worse than when I took the lightning I use to have. It ran 13.8's. Stock 04.

Also I have been looking into cams too and it seems like the 228R (according to other people on here and the sounds clips I heard) is a great cam. BUT, while your doing the cam you MUST do valve springs, REALLY SHOULD do pushrods, AND should also do timing chain and oil pump. sorry dude it was bad news to me too. seems like a lot but I have been assured that it is way worth it!.
ms3, ls6, 228r, etc... Has anyone here used any of those cams or other cams that have been recomended? If so, Is it what you would recomend. And what all MUST i change for the cam you have? Hopefully it comes in a kit. PM me if needed. Thanks

Imo if you want a good powere adding cam that you can daily drive get a ms3 cam with 112 lsa. it comes in a kit and comes with everything you need to change. with that cam you will need at least a 3500 or 3800+ stall.

my 98 z has 410 gear, auburn 3 series pose, 26-10 mt et streets, b&m 3000 stall converter, hooker long tube headers and flowmaster exhaust, cold air box, frame connectors and the rest is stock besides the tune and it runs 7.80's -90's in the 8th mile all day and have driven it from michigan to tennessee a few times and does awsome... also just put a nos 150 shot on it but have not used it yet.. my next thing is going to be a cam heads and intake upgrade... I believe im going to put the trick flow 500 plus hp kit on it and see how that works...
