Stall 1, then a cam that works well with your stall, and goals you have for the car.

I dont even own an auto and can tell ya stall first. What a difference it made in my buddies car! Not to mention I really like how stalled cars drive over stock. And dont be scared to go with a larger stall... from my buddies experiance a 3600 stall is no sweat for a daily. I think i'd go with a 4000 if i ever owned an auto.

I'm m6 but I say both well matched, most cams have stall recomendations. And gears also.

I put a Yank 3500 in mine and couldn't be happier. Hopefully it'll put me deep into the 12s next season. With many cams it's recommended to run an aftermarket converter anyway to compensate for the higher power band. As far as the cooler is concerned, I just put in a Hayden RV cooler from the parts store and it has worked flawlessly for nearly 30k now. If it'll cool a 5 ton RV it'll cool a little F-body just fine.

I would go with a stall first because you have to break it in, you might ruin the brand new stall romping on it durning the dyno tuning. B&M 70274 should be plenty good cooler.

if ur wanting a cam, buy both at the same time. You need a converter when you upgrade to a larger cam.

i was a dumba$$ and put a cam in before stall. My car is a turd down low and it pushes threw the breaks unless i old them real hard at stop lights. When driving it , it will go into its own kinda cruise control.I now have a 4000 stall waiting to go in.

Go with a 4000 I went with a 3600 and wish it was bigger, and for a cooler B&M is a good brand but any will really work IMO just don't get dirt cheap cooler......

Save up $300 more and do both. Research your combo first of course.
