Planning stages. I have a 1979 Caprice, going to do a LS swap. On a budget, So I'm thinking a LM7 with a factory Corvette LS6 cam. Would convert to a carburetor setup.
For now keep the TH350 trans. I do know that the 2.41:1 stock rear is a weak point. Wondering if a 3.08:1 gearing and 2,000 stall torque convertor would work this setup.
Building it as a cruiser.
