Tb help!
I recently purchased an LS6 intake and the ported/polished throttle body shown below that is on the right hand side. As you can see there are some minor differences in the 2, with the biggest being the side piece that looks like an ear that the throttle cable wraps around. Since its so much bigger, it will not fit on my car, however the guy i bought the 2 from said it fit on his 2000 T/A. Could someone please let me know exactly what this TB is, or what it came off of, or what i can do to make it fit and if not so i can sell it! Thanks!

The two cams' differences don't matter if you can get
the cable snug. They are a different profile but the same
draw-to-open length.
All the TB cores are the same casting #, the fittings vary.
The throttle shaft can be swapped easily, if it bugs you.
The earlier F-bodies and trucks had the more circular
throttle cable cam, which opens the blade faster at the
low end. The later F-bodies went to the oblong cam
which opens the throttle slower at low pedal (giving
a "lack of throttle response" feeling but probably a
tenth of a MPG in EPA drive cycle testing).
