SICK CAM for LS Cars
Due to loads of questions about "what cam should I go with" and the extremely popular "polluter" cam, we have designed a camshaft upgrade package that puts down the horsepower and torque numbers for your LS based machine!!! If you are in the market for a new cam, or if you are looking to put a cam in your LS based ride, this is the perfect cam for you. Check out the link below for more details!

We have seen near 500 rwhp with the Polluter along with a set of 215 TFS heads on LS1's. With all of the bolt ons, thinner head gaskets, milled heads along with flycut pistons making over 500 rhwp would be no problem.
The Polluter works we'll in just about any combination using cathedral port style cylinder heads. We later built a 408 for the first car to ever receive the Polluter camshaft. With the Polluter combined with a set of 225 AFR cylinder heads and a FAST 92 that car produced 550 rwhp.
I would consider the Polluter to be a "max effort" cam for a stock bottom end LS1/6/2. It is on the large side in terms of what fits with a safe amount of PTV clearance.
With a good tune the Polluter can be very driveable, however to get the most from this or any camshaft of this size a lower gear ratio than factory will help (higher numerically) and a 3500+ stall converter is a requirement.

Ms4 for sure and no need to flycut if your tight on money. Give up a lilttle lower in torque. But the biggest cam isn't always best it's not a dick measuring contest. Just depends on your plans

(Jump to 1:40 for the fully warmed up lopey magic sound we all love and desire)
3,800# race weight, full accessories, stock suspension, LS2 GTO w/ full exhaust (3/4 LTs), and a Circle D 4,300 stall converter, stock 3.46 gears, non-shop ported LS2 intake/TB, 555R DRs on stock 17x8 wheels.
Similar DA example:
Same mods, PRE-cam, +1,741ft DA
-1.69 60ft
-7.82 @ 87MPH 1/8
-12.28 @ 110MPH 1/4
Same mods, AFTER Polluter cam, +2,044ft DA
-1.63 60ft
-7.52 @ 93MPH 1/8
-11.80 @ 115MPH 1/4
Pre cam was consistent 12.3xs @ 108-110. After cam is consistent 11.8xs @ 114-115. Despite being a monster cam for stock cubes/heads/gears, I lost no 60ft or 1/8th performance. Quite the contrary. I gained an exceptional 6MPH @ the 1/8th mile! And the 1/4 time/trap tells the other side of the story on how this cam just doesn't quit. Even when breathing through a garbage LS2 intake. Obviously the converter is a big supporting element to why the cam performs like it does in my car, but just going off the cam gains alone the Polluter delivers. This cam will truly shine in my car with some AI ported 243s, a FAST 102 and some 3.91s. Can't wait.
Tick Performance has a winning bump stick here.
