I currently have the Dynomouth on stock manifolds with cats. Its really quiet at idle. I hate it at low rpm high loads, it resonates in the back seats and sounds like a jeep 4.0. It sounds great at high rpm though, but this is my DD and I rarely rev it up there.

I just bought BBK LT & ORY, so I am looking to trade it for a flowmaster or something chambered so I can get that old school muscle car sound I'm looking for.

PM me if you want to buy a Dynomouth in great shape, I've only had it for 2 months (I bought the car bone stock 2 months ago).

It's like an 18 inch muffler, 3 in/out. It still doesn't sound great, but worlds ahead of the loudmouth. I has gunna attempt to get a new merge, but I think true duals are the only way.

i put in a resonator. i still love it. i have researched every exhaust setup there is. it is ungodly loud. it is unpleasant to stand behind it and hear it revved even to 3000rpm. if you noticed in my vid my cousin moved to the side of the car and covered his ears. to date we have measured that I can be heard at WOT from 7 miles away. I was doing 167 according to the Garmin haha. car was running 7.30's and getting faster as the converter broke in.

I will post one more vid to try and sway you.

sounds deeper than the xr-1 to me.

as for slp....since it was on my GTO i have never liked it.....and for borla...sounds good on mustangs. borla is a factory warrantied exhaust for my V cadillac and I wont put it on it.

no that was before I procharged it. I added about 200 horses on top of what you saw in that video. But the motor could not deal with it. It was 600rwhp on the dot when it let go with 9lbs. of boost. the head lifted and the block cracked.

but to answer your question....that is the dynomax resonator. that is what i have. that is what is on the car. that is what is in those videos. the video of my old gto is the one with the slp. i am not a fan of the slp. it was not deep enough. it was hollow sounding. i wanted something deep and muscular with more treble.

i just used the plumbing and swapped the loudmouth for a dynomax from ws6store to see if I liked it anymore or if there would even be a difference at all.

but getting back to the point

HOLY HELL indeed. if it sounds monstrous on a shitty 3g iphone...imagine it in person. haha.

its hooker longtubes 1 3/4. hooker ORY, slp plumbing, dynomax resonator. 228r texas speed cam (at that time) at 114lsa .588.588 making 400wheel. also had a 3200 PTC

you can check my project thread to see updates on the new setup. shoot me a pm if you have questions.

It is quite different now, but the exhaust is staying on, although I may add a cutout for the track. havent decided.
