Loudmouth vs dynomouth?

Loudmouth vs dynomouth?
So I bought my car with a lm1 cat back, and it's nice, I feel it could be a little louder. And I have the correct size dynomax bullet to swap in. Anyone have dynomouth with stock manifolds? Ill be picking up long tubes soon and I know a lot of people aren't crazy about lts and the loud mouth resonator. My question is will it sound good? A lot louder? Deeper? Or should I hold off till the long tubes?

Hold off until you can get the LT's IMO, the LM1 behind the LT's should be plenty loud. Also, if you want it even louder after that point you could just ditch the cats. That REALLY woke my car up sound wise.

the lm1 only sounds good imo on a stock car, with longtubes and a ory it will be alot louder, you might be happy with how it sounds after the longtubes but as soon as you start adding heads and cam it starts to get pretty crappy, i would keep the lm1 on there , on your setup now it will be louder than the dynomax, ialways tell people who want loud and are thinking of really moding there car to go with a true dual setup, there is no catback that comes close to sounding as good,

I used to have long tubes. , an offroading y, and a bullet dumped on my lt1 car. Much louder than this. (obviously). Im just curious if it sounds better. There's certain rome where the lm resonator sounds like crap. Also I already have no cat.

I got pacesetter long tubes and loud mouth II there plenty loud there just really raspy! I went with SLP catback because there is no muffler to restrict the flow. Just a resonator for the back pressure. It sounds really good.

With long tubes and cats the lm1 is tolerable but with out the cats its just obnoxious. I always compare it to a honda with a fart can, the car sounds like it should be alot faster then it actually is.

I have Hookers/ORY/Loudmouth and it sounds pretty beast. Loud as hell, but only really bothers me on long drives. I'll probably swap to Magnaflow when I get my Torquer V3/LS6 heads though, if it sounds as bad as you guys say it does.

Wait till you get LT's, then pickup a TSP rumbler true dual system, see if you like the bullets they come with, if not, try the dynomax bulets welded in instead. LT's and an ORY is very raspy, especially with a LM1 catback. Duals or a catted Y is the way to go IMO.

i had the slp lm1 on my goat, and i thought i liked it....until i put on my dynomax.....first i put it on with the stock manifolds as seen in this vid....the tone is deeper, and just plain *** sexy......and with the headers, it is ungodly loud, and i was still able to use my slp plumbing. the iphone does it no justice, but it does not have the backpressure sound anymore for sure and has tone through the entire rpm range......

this is the dynomax resonator with just manifolds......
this is it with hooker longtube offroad 1 and 3/4 headers. no cats.
