I agree with the few on here that said the 4l60e is a good transmission under stock power. It's like anything...take care of it and it'll take care of you. Mine started giving me problems so instead of getting it rebuilt I'm gunna put an flt Trans in so I will feel better about adding more power down the line with a stronger than stock unit.

Alot of the questions you ask are found up top. They are stickied. But yes, a ported TB will give you a bit throttle response. Just take care of your basic bolt ons and go from there. Classifieds section will be your best friend if on a budget
