Default Lights flickering like strobe light, volts above 15, HELP!!!!

In the morning whe i start my 02 ss, the volts sit in between 15 and 16, and my headlights, dashlights, and tail lights flicker like crazy. after about 15 or 20minutes of driving, they settle at about 14. I have no trouble starting the car, and I hooked up a voltmeter to the battery, off it reads 12 and change and on about 15 when it first starts in the morning settling down to 14 and change again after about 20 min of driving, also tested voltage regulator and sat at 14 as well. was told to unhook neg post when car is running and see if it shuts off which it didnt. Any suggestions PLEASEEEE!!!!

Did you test it while it was flickering or after it straightened out? I'm thinking alternator/regulator.

Is it possible that the vehicle has under drive pulleys on it that you didn't know about? It seems that under drive pulleys can cause the lights to "flash" after you start the vehicle until the system voltage stabilizes.

Alternator.. there are multiple threads on this in the general tech section. Its usually a bad voltage regulator... which is inside the alternator.
