I'll like it better if it goes like it should and has a reasonable price tag. I'm not too crazy about that color though.

Looks like a cross between a firebird and a camaro: bird front, camaro rear!

God I wish the retro crap would stop. I don't not like that design, but the tail is too long, and I'm tired of retro.

That black one needs to lose the Neon headlights. Could also stand to have some polished or chrome wheels on it rather than the CE wheels.

I personally think the 98-02 style was the best yet, and they need to do better than that...c'mon Pontiac, we want an AWD, Twin Turbo Monster...

I'm confused. My understanding is there won't be a 5th gen Firebird/Trans AM. I went to the link and it looks like whoever did those drawings appears to be a good artist with too much dreaming going on. Heck I could sit around and make drawings of what the T/A could look like with different ideas in my mind. Just cause someone can draw a picture of what a 5th gen might look like doesn't mean there's going to be one. Until I see something from the high brass in GM in writing that there will be a 5th gen T/A, as far as I'm concerned 02 's were the last ones.

as far as I've heard you're right... or at least not anytime soon... 5th gen camaro sounds def but doesn't sound like GM has any plan of making another firebird anytime soon

Default Another 5th Gen Firebird

How 'bout this one, it's not quit finished yet(right headlight, and some other tidbits) But it's not retro, but a "re-imagining" of the 4th gen.

I love the new 'retro' Mustang, and if GM can come with something on par with those lines, I'd most certainly get in line to buy one!

I like the Chris Horton designs much better. It's gotten a lot attention at my job from the peons to the top dawg execs. I think it would do really well. GM just needs to give it another name to not have the Canadian plant come sue them.

Looks like it's based more on a 3rd Gen than on a 4th Gen to me. The whole greenhouse & sail panel scream 3rd Gen as does the rear hatch and rear fenders. The spoiler looks 2nd Gen inspired. The way the tail lights angle back in screams 3rd Gen. The nose is different more 4th Gen. The door handles don't make the cut and neither do the vette rims.

It's a hodge-podge of looks tossed together that don't belong together. Sort of like a C6 design process applied to strong points of 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Gen F-body design. The resulting image isn't something that would sell in todays market IMO.

Looks better than a 2nd gen IMO but that isn't saying much looks much worse than a 1st, 3rd or 4th Gen IMO
