Doesn't matter if you've spent 4x the price of your car, on your car. If you can walk into your garage or driveway, start your car, smile, and have a good day... it's worth any amount of money you can ever spend on it.
So as long as you get out of your car with a smile on your face, continue to slash those paychecks in half as soon as they're deposited! Make us, and especially yourself, proud!

My wife and I get in intense discussions over this. She doesn't "feel" me, but knows the intense passion I have for modding. We live paycheck to paycheck, but my philosophy is the same as said above.
You can't take it with you, and you might never know when your "show is going to be over ."

SLP Loudmouth and y pipe: $500.00 approx.
TSP Lid: $125.00
Free mods: $5.00 in little parts like extra hose, etc...
K&N filter: $50.00
BMR sfc's and lca's with install: $423.77
Later this year: BMR Lowering springs, adjustable panhard bar, relocation brackets, sways bars front and rear, hoooker header and TSP true duel exhaust.

There are people who don't undstand us (by us I mean die hard automotive enthusiests), and how we can find so much joy and passion in a thing that should only "get you from point A to point B"... but to me the time I've spent between those two points has defined me and made me grow up to be the man I am today and I would have it absolutely no other way.
Sorry for my little heart-felt car guy moment , it's just something near and dear to my heart I don't mind shareing with others of my breed. As long as it makes you happy, I expect to see these totals rise! Have fun guys!

What's the saying?..."it's not how far you go, it's how you get there...."

2875.63, Sux I keep track. Wheels, tires/headers/cam/springs/gears/NOS/ etc/etc. I do ALL my own work and pay for alot of my mods by installing other peoples mods. It's great having a shop and equipment! The car will be paid off in less than 2 years, the ODO reads 23K now and will be less than 30K when all is said and done, I can not wait to see the deals on monster/crate motors that will be available in 2 years! What sux is that I want to continue to mod this car and I have a hard on for the C6 version of a Z06........ I need to win the lottery LOL.....

I have owned 4 of the 4th generation cars so far. I just picked up a 2002 Z28 auto with 14,600 miles 2 weeks ago.
So far I added
Mobil 1 oil change the same day, wix fuel filter, Eibach pro kit springs, chrome Z06 17X9.5 wheels and tires, Tinted windows, SLP floormats, WSS lower radiator support for more air, K&N filter, SLP air lid, SLP bellows boot, SLP ported throttle body, and Custom flowmaster catback exaust system.
More on the way but so far the bill is up to ((( $2,350.00 )))
Looking to spend at least another $1,500 within the next few weeks.
If I do go with the head and cam swap then add another $5,000

Bought 02 T/A almost 14 months ago, Wrecked with 18,852 miles. Paid $6300 for car. $1700 in New parts, another $2000 to go give or take.
I've put 4/10 of a mile on the damn thing and that was the same night I got it. But buying a 05 Harley and About 4500 in tools didn't help much either. Shootin' for summer '05. wish me luck.
