A lot of you guys think you have spent more on "mods" than you really have. With any car, you are going to have to replace the tires, spark plugs, wires, etc. so I don't consider that a "mod". Now maybe if they were slicks or something, that would be different.

See, I just saved you guys a bunch of money that you thought you had already spent. So you are now free to go spend more money on more mods.

I don't consider that stuff mods either, but it adds up. I could add that all up but won't.

I should have stock in Nitto drag radials right about now

Doing some rough math, I have probably dropped $3800+ in mods, including new tires. That, plus another couple hundred in repairs and maintenance (battery, alternator, spark plugs, fuel filter, front brakes and rotors, and probably some other little things). The car keeps me on my toes for only having 37k miles. If I could not do my own auto work, you could at least double that amount of money. The only thing I don't do is weld...yet...

You have to pay to play.

Same here, I'm glad I don't have to pay for any installs.

If I included tires, and the QTP headers I just bought, True Duals I'm ordering, etc. I would probably be close to $3000. It's bad to think about this, I don't like this thread.

I've spent to much on mods. I try not to add it up so I don't feel bad about spending so much I have saved a ton installing all myself.
