I dnt think you can use the ShortStick on the MGW... just cut and re-thread your existing stick. Done

Yeah I dont think that works on the MGW. I did a lot of research on the MGW in the past as I have been looking to get one myself, and I think your only option is to cut the actual stick and re-thread it.

^^^ Thats all there is to do. If u want a shifter you can swap sticks. Get a hurst or pro5.0, B&M MGW can't change Sticks

If you have a newer MGW that's not stepped you can just cut the end off that goes in the shifter. No retreading needed. If you have the old style rod you might just get a new one from them?

I think I have the new style, there is a little notch about an inch and a half from the bottom that has a groove around it, and the instructions say to cut it there if you want it shorter. Hope that helps!

I thought the MGW was a little shorter than the stock shift stick?

I just ordered mine last night. I don't mind how the Hurst I have sits now, is there a height difference from the two?

with the Hurst **** no not much might even be a bit shorter. When your using a different **** like a Hurts ball **** that is threaded as deep it will sit kind of high.

Ah, what did you end up using as your ****?

I don't mind how it sits stock to be honest. But looking at the WS6Store..man that looks right!

I notice when ordering mgw shifter there are two options for thread. One is stock and the other is a different thread/pitch. What are you guys ordering. Btw sorry to butt in on your thread but didn't want to start a new one for a simple explanation.
