I've been looking for another LS1 recently, and I've found a couple, thought I'd get a second opinion. The first one is a, 1999 LS1 long block only. Removed with 69k miles and has a mild rod knock. $500, or 2000 Trans Am.
LS1 Engine (completely disassembled piston rings are bad, used oil) $400
Does not come with the oil pan or intake but have a truck oil pan and intake that will go with it. I can't decide on which one to get, maybe you guys can help?

They are both similarly priced and will likely require the same amount of labor and machining. If you planning to build up the motor look at which ones better and go on that. If you are planning on running a mostly stock motor then I would find another one thats in good shape as it will cost less overall
