Rear o2 question

I had the rear O2 sensor go out on the passengers side of my Camaro and it ran really rich and a service engine code came on. I imagine if I got it tuned it would've disappeared, but I just replaced it and it runs normal again.

It sounds like this camaro would have the same results messing with the rear O2s that we had with our firebird back then. We could make it too rich or too lean playing with the REAR O2s. Maybe early PCMs responded differently, I don't know but I appreciate all your input on this issue, maybe we will try these tests again if I can locate a stock, LS1 car for retesting, I have someone in mind but it's a 2002.
