243 heads on 99 LS1
Hey guys, Im thinking about putting 243 heads on my ls1. And my question is what kind of power can i expect to get with the heads and a cam and what kind of cam should i go with with the heads to make a decent amount of power?

i would get them p&p and it all depends on how big of a cam you want to go with i got a tsp 233/239 cam for my daily driver and thats a pretty big cam. But if you want a smaller good daily driver cam look at the tsp 224r or the tsp 228r cam both really good cams and make decent power hope this helps

yeah i wouldnt doubt 420+ through an m6.
my buld is untouched 243's, cam is 615/615 lift, 236/242 duration, 111 lsa. LS6 intake, pacesetter long tubes and off road y pipe. racetronix fuel pump and 42lb injectors. on a mustang dyno it made 423/385. spun engine to 6300 rpms.
hp kept climbing to redline. so if i could rev my engine higher i could make more.
just my experience. i did the 243's untouched because i decided not to do spray so i had the cash to get the heads but not afford a port n polish. it was a budget build
edit: ill be pulling my engine this winter. might have my heads pnp'd. idk though. its still $1000. either TEA or AI. great companies from what i have heard
