Default 5.3 cams

i have a 5.3 votex out of a 04 avalanch. i put it in a 83 swb chevy. it will be a daily driver for. id like to get 10 % gain in horsepower. i deleted the o2 sensor and mas. computer was flashed and reprogrammed . id like some options on some cams, springs, and push rods to run.... just think i dont want to break the bank

LS6 cam and springs.... cheap and should push it to like 320 wheel

This would be an excellent choice, but I would also like to suggest the 212/218 Camshaft in a package with beehive springs and pushrods. This would be an excellent increase in power, yet still retain good street-ability, and you could use this with a stock stall converter.

comp 54-408-11 or 54-455-11.get some pac 1518 springs and harden pusf rods from TSP.

he said cheap and 10% power bump which is why i suggested the LS6 kit.... can be had for under $150

Noone said that was a bad suggestion.

I simply suggested a camshaft that is slight bump up. Our camshaft and beehive spring kits are more than the $150.00, at $609.99, but for brand new components which can offer more power, duration, lift, bigger springs, and hardened pushrods, this is still a fairly cheap price.
