Shave Rear Quarter Lip for Tire Clearance
Hello again and as Ive mentioned about my car before which is a 99 TA w/LQ4 I am running 15X8 Weld Pro Stars in the rear with 275/55R15 MT Drag Radials.. I am looking to lower the car roughly 1.25-1.5 and I am pretty sure when I do so beings that there is the larger tire in the rear its going to rub the inner quarter lip over bumps, etc.. Has anyone on here ran into this and can I shave that lip down for the clearance that I need so that it does not rub and damage $500.00 worth a tires..Haha Thanks

If you shave it, that's where rust will start. If you roll
it you can (with good technique) avoid breaching the
paint & underlayers.
Eastwood Industries makes the most popular fender
roller but it's expensive for the one use. That's why a
few individuals rent theirs over the mail. 69TA is a
user ID on this site, you can search it up or look for
a thread about this in the paint & bodywork section.

I dropped the front of the car little over an inch and kinda like the stance with the height its at.. Might not be doing anything to it especially since im thinking on running a little larger tire then I currently have.. Anyone running the NEW MT 295/55R15 on stock height Camaro/TA..??? If so what are your thoughts..?? Thanks
