About 10-15hp depending on your mods.

About 10-15hp depending on your "bolt-on" mods. Now if you're using a LS6 intake on a 500+HP (crank hp) heads/cam LS1, that LS6 intake is helping much more than 15hp over a pre-'01 LS1 intake.

Point being, the LS6 intake is much better then the LS1 piece, either on a bolt-on or H/C car.

OP, it's for sure an LS1 intake. One way I learned how to tell in pics if you can't tell if the bottom is flat or not, look at the webbing between the intake ports. If it's shaped like an 'X', then it's an LS1, if they're square, it's an LS6. So basically, the 'X' means "Do not want" lol

Since it was brought up in here, I have headers so no egr and pulled more of the air system hoses out (I think) is it hard to get the air pump out? or worth the effort at this point?

The air pump is just held on by a few bolts in the driver's side bumper compartment that you can get to from underneath. Only takes a few minutes to pull it out. Just be sure to cap the vacuum line going to the back of the intake when taking the system out.
