Theres alot you can do, it all depends on how serious you want to go. if you want to get serious, Front and rear impact absorbers(the foam between the front nose, rear bumber) front sway bar,Rear seat bench and seats, padding under the carpet, A/C unit, EGR unit if you have one,Replace all suspension with aftermarket and get ride of the stamped steel.The list goes on and on.

do LS1 guys relocate their battery to the rear? that's like a 100 lb shift right there since you're taking a 50 lb battery and putting it in the rear (where it'll help weight transfer). also frees up room in the engine compartment.
parts like tubular k-members are expensive. i'd rather spend money on more power first. i've heard of aftermarket control arms break before too.

!Front Swaybar is a good mod....its about 15 lbs off the front end.. and honestly unless you like open tracking, you won't miss it...my car still handles decently without it...you could try one of those lightweight batteries too...thats about 14 lbs as opposed to 45....
