Default First LS motor

Picked up my 1st LS motor this weekend, I got a LS 7 for good deal. The only downfall is that the number 6 cylinder is cracked......beyond the sleeve, so I was looking into the Darton MID sleeve system. I wanted to go with more cubes but I talked with Darton a little bit and it'll be safer to say with the stock cubes sense it will be a street car and I want to use nitrous. I also want to go with a wet sump set up, I won't be doing any AutoX or road course racing, only in a straight line. The motor cam with a Speed Inc black mamba cam and PRC265cc heads, the C6Z the motor came out of laid down 59X whp and 53X wtq(YouTube videos under "Benny's Z06" I am currently weighing the options if going with a aftermarket block, used block, or send it out for the Darton setup depending on which is more cost effective. The motor will be put into my 96 Impala SS that land yacht could use the extra cubes lol I posted in the internal section first.......like a newb lol I've gotten a couple quotes already for around $2,300 for parts and labor.

@Fengstang I can only imagine how my 1st drive will be with triple the power of that stock LT1. I can't go nuts cause I need another trans, my 60 is only good for 575-600 at the fly, I was thinking between the 4L80E(tried and true) or the 6L90E(takes all the power those Vs put out "should" be able to take the challenge )

According to the seller that the car was in the bleach doing a burnout, didn't get above the 3 grand and there was a slight pop/bang similar to a backfire and the car shut off, he thinks it was some bad gas, other than tht I have no idea what happen
