Default Rear End Rebuild

I'm looking more towards rebuilding my 7.5" since affording a moser or strange is not in my price range and I want to use most of that money towards my loan. Would it be under $2k to rebuild one with 373 ratio ? Or perhaps a ford 9 inch replacement for that much?

Your best bet would be calling around to some local shops and getting quotes. Prices vary to much across the country to get an accurate price range. Once you have that bit of knowledge you can research the cost of having a ford 8.8 rear end fitted for your ride to compare cost. Or if the stars and moons align perfectly you will find a deal on someone parting out there car with a built rear end.

Talked to a shop they said they might be able to get me a 12 bolt for around $2k with labor waiting for them to call me back.
