Default How to remove bulb from socket? Front turn signal 99 TransAm

I'm changing my front turn signals but the bulb seems to be stuck in the socket. Is there a correct way to remove it? do I just yank on it?

Just pull it out. I would recommend putting some dielectric grease in the plug socket.

That socket is looking a bit charred, which is a common issue, eventually you will need to change out that.

Yeah, I pulled on it and just the bulb came out but the plastic piece disintegrated and is stuck inside the socket. It looks ruined. I went to AutoZone but they don't sell the socket.

Can I buy them anywhere?

A GM dealership parts department would be your best bet. I recently had to replace mine on my 1999 Z28. Had the same issue. But use some dielectric grease for sure.
