I just started my ls6 intake install. I have an 00 trans am. It has slp long tubes. I am removing my egr and air system as I install my new intake. On the passenger side just behind where the egr valve and bracket were there was a tube going into one of the runners. I think this was part of the AIR system. Easy to unbolt.

Now was down in a hard to reach area on passenger side. Past the first long runner is where another hose from egr runs into header. I just can't reach from top. Haven't tried from below.

Any tips on how to get to this? Is this just a pain because of the headers that I have. The install was going ok until this step. I just can't get to it.

I obviously will have to put on a block off plate. I hope that is easier with the actual egr crap out of the way.

Got it with combination of extensions and swivel.
