shaking of engine....

shaking of engine.... ok i have noticed that since all the mods i have done.. my motor shakes.. i was told it was just the torque of the motor then i was told it was the TB. it shakes my engine all the way to the back of my exhuast tips... i thought the motor mounts might be lose but had them checked out.. and they are good.. i was just wondering if that is normal with anyone elses SS's?
My engine shakes / jumps, always has. Lighter-
mass block will wiggle more on any misfire /
near miss than a heavier one, against the
similar rotating mass to other V-8s. And the
closed loop engine management does not hold
a constant AFR, but is always messing it around
looking at cross-counts but this also means
mixture excursions that can flirt with near-
misfire and make torque ripple / jumps, the
engine shake is the reaction torque of the
excess/dropped pulse against the flywheel.

Mine does that too.. and when the clutch chatters it will move an ASSLOAD. At idle, it looks like it has a broken mount, or a misfire.. but I don't think it does. I think they are just a bit weak. I bought poly mounts, and they are in the process of being put in now. I will let you know how it goes.
