Is this the over-the-axle pipe hanger? Walker makes a replacement, I've seen the part number posted before. It's not an exact copy and might require some adjustment, but people have used them with decent results. I don't have the part number handy, but you can find it via a search or try having a local parts store look it up. You're right, GM discontinued the originals several years ago, so used or aftermarket are the only options at this point.

Gm has no parts I am starting to notice that f body replacement parts from the dealer are disappearing when i look for them, is there a f body specific salvage business to keep our cars at peak out there.
