Ls1 performance mod budget Hi, I have a 1998 Trans am automatic Trans all stock except a performance exhaust system. I've got a budget of around $500 to increase performance. What would be the best? Shift kit, cold air intake/air box, chip, etc? Please give me some suggestions, thanks!
Plenty of free mods
Search ls1 free mods on Google.
500 won't give you much.
But first should be a lid. Headers/exhaust
Ls6 intake is 400or so
Cam is 250
243 Heads is 400
Shift kit is cheap but paying install is costly
Stall is 650+
Need suspension mods which is a couple thousand.
Just keep saving and do as much as possible at once.
Do cam heads and intake all at once. Need transmission and rear end built as well.
