Default New to the LS1, my intro

WOW! What a great site! Glad I found this one! Anyway, I just got an LS1 engine and have since had many dreams of starting up this project. I'd like to take it and punch it over a bit, stroke it out and build a sweet 67-69 Camaro and 67 Chevelle to put this in. Tear down starts next week and the car seach is on! May end up with a 3rd Gen Camaro but who knows!

So far been readin lots on here and looking forward to this site being of great help. Seems great so far and FAR more users on here than any other site I've seen so far!

Um.. to add to this.. I am seeing a lot of "What will it cost to..." "Who builds a..." Um... Does anyone tear down and rebuild one of these themselves?!?!? Starting to get a little concnerned here!!!!! LOL We've always built our own stuff up and just wondering if that is going away???

Oh and I know not everyone wants to do that, not knocing them either! (Don't want it to sound like that!) But this is my hobbie and project sooo.. Just curious!

You won't find a better message forum about the LS1 than this one. Check out http://www.ls1howto.com it may be helpful in some installs.
